This quote could have different interpretations. I tend to take the positive one I do not argue with prejudices about blondes. That said, I think this quote is great, because it set the stage that for everything you do, you need only to satisfy yourself. Do not let others dictate what you should or should not be.

I agree with your interpretation. Usually people think that blondes with silicon boobs are stupid (and in many cases it is so as they are so obsessed with their appearance that don’t pay attention to the inner development. so when people discover that she is not that stupid they are surprised. For me (as a brunette, to surprise others means to say something smart, not just “not-stupid”).
